Can any e9 owners with 240+ rwhp comment on the durability of the e9 differential? I know most hold up fine to the 200 rwhp range (a built m30b35 with an aggresive cam) but most on this board aren't putting down a lot of power beyond the 200 rwhp mark.

IDK how strong the diffs are.

I do know Mario at VSR1 has setup his shop to rebuild our LSD diffs with stronger internals.

IIRC, he mention this was in response to higher HP cars breaking the stock diff.

I will probably bite the bullet and get one of these from him when I do my engine upgrade.

But, I see nothing wrong with running a stock diff until you break it. Just be sure you are comfortable with the situation a seized diff will put you in (often it’ll cause you to spin).

Not sure about how long the difs may last - some of the racers here may have better info - but if I were putting down big horsepower, I would give some consideration to the strength of the dif mount area, the rear shock towers, and the transmission tunnel.
