E9 / E3 Fuse Panel / New Product Upgrade / Review / Converting to modern blade style fuses with LED status mode

I got all the E3 units built for existing orders and I'll have them in the mail tomorrow. The preorder discount for those ends after May 31st so buy soon if you're looking to get one at the cheaper price. Very excited to be getting these to people!

@Galahad Let me ask you one more question in addition to the discount request :) I noticed that in the fuse box panels for the E28 and E10 you included the Fuse Box Color Card, while in the E9 version the board appears in green with the references in codes. Is there a particular reason for this difference? To be honest, I really love how the colors look on the E10 and E28 fuse box panels.

@LEO PM'd

About the colors - the green boards earlier in the thread are prototypes, production units are black with color references silkscreened on. I've attached a picture of the current design. Built-in color cards require a significant amount of work and setup to get done right, I'm looking into it.

Galahad,
Its been a year and half since your first prototype. It looks like you are will into the production units. I hope this E9 fuse panel project has been a success?
Best,
Paul Cain

I'd say it's a success! I'd hope my customers think so as well.
Thanks again for helping to get this across the finish line.

Absolutely… I bought one and am extremely pleased with it.
same here, I was an early prototype tester and now have the final release going for about 18 months, and am very happy with it. Would not want to go back to the old torpedo fuses.

Hey everyone!

I just received the @Galahad fuse box a few days ago, and I couldn’t be happier — it looks incredibly solid and well-built. I’m super motivated to get to work, since my wiring harness has clearly been “touched” by a few self-taught electricians over the years . There are swapped wires, random jumpers, a few shorts… you name it. Lots to sort out, but I’m excited to bring everything back to proper shape and make it reliable again!

I’m also truly grateful for all the support and knowledge shared here on the forum — this community is absolutely invaluable. It’s amazing to have such passionate people willing to help others keep these beautiful cars alive.
