E9 for sale in Scottsdale?

Being as it is a picture at a gas station… I’m guessing scam.

lots of them going around right now.

You have a gambling addiction and just lost big at the casino. You saved enough cash to get some gas to get you home because your gas gauge was on empty. Suddenly, you see a nice cs coupe pull up at one of the pumps next to yours and you hatch a brilliant plan: take a picture of it and advertise it on a site. No matter that it will show you just joined the site this month and that you have a nice round price of $50K and that you mislabel it as a 2000 even though you should know which model it is judging by all the work you claim to have done on the vehicle. Unfortunately you couldn't get any more pictures snapped before the owner of the vehicle left the station.

The description is great….so in the past 2 weeks I have gotten three emails that are solicitations connected to some parts wanted ads from this site, they really try hard to make me think they have the parts I am looking for. For example one scammer stole photos of NOS fenders and quarters and was offering to ship them across the country….Never mind I mention I am looking for old, used fiberglass parts. There are millions of young folks who think social media is a place to do business, some find out the hard way, some just never learn.

I have had the vehicle for 35 years I just refinished all the paint all the leather seats dashboard ,teak , inside carpet straight six four-speed just rebuilt entire engine. Starts in less than a second and runs excellent.

Golly, sounds pretty nice to me, refinished teak and all. I'm surprised the seller isn't asking a gazillion or even a bazillion for it. :D

But seriously, I sure hope that no one falls for this one.
