I change my headlight to new style to have daylight or driving light and it is called angle aye for safety and and previous owner of car that we have contact told me it is not a original and car price will drop since it is out of originality what you guys think should I put the original lighting back in or it is cool to have that. check the pix

My thoughts...
If you are not selling the car, do what you want... and if the new style (angel eye) headlights are what you like, then that is great. Leave them as is.

If you are selling (or getting ready to sell)... then I would favor returning to the more traditional headlight installation as that is what presents better to (what I would think) the look a potential buyer would like.

My nickel anyway...

it is a good advice, but be aware that buyers are very peculiar and some would like them

those are engel in german, so angel eyes, not angle, no additional safety involved, Bangle, (Ch.Bangle, b-angle, maybe you took ti form there), bmw designer anticipated the light expression in cars through them, now we all have those led lights
of course they throw much more light than the originals, but...
IMHO they look horrendous, but that is your car and...anyway you asked if that is cool, and it is not, but it will depend where you ask about coolness...some neighbourhoods might love them

i wonder if you will be able to retrofit to the originals, depends if the support frames have not been modified or replaced

I say go back to Hellas for originality and aestethics.
Names matter just like the engellisches Horn becoming the English Horn...

Yes, it is what you like but hold on to the originals if you ever want to sell. I pulled the entire SLS system out of my M6 but I have the entire thing stored just in case. I have no opinion on the lights, I was staring too hard at the 8 series in the back.

BMW had city lights 50 years ago stock on euro cars.

That ad value to an American car.

The car in sfdon’s picture is mine yesterday. He just did a Euro Hella light conversion and it’s a HUGE improvement. City lights are nice as daytime running lights, the low beams are far brighter than sealed beams with long small gauge wire runs and the high beams give more light than you could ever want on a dark road. Besides the lighting improvement, they look cool in a classic way.

YES THATS THE ONLY WAY IN MY OPINION TO UPDATE THE LIGHTS AS THEY LOOK ORIGINAL AND
ARE MUCH MORE SAFE AS THE OEMS REALLY DONT WORK
I DID THE SAME AS SET UP THE HELLAS

it is Very nice, I will keep my blue one like original since most of the time I am driving the Malaga color since AC works better and I am big fan of yellow headlight .
