E9 hood gasket question

That seal is not original and doesn’t belong there. Its basically and edge protection (Kanten Schutz) easily found. Here’s an example.....
the front seal.... I’ll have to check who has it. Is it not this one?

Possibly someone could confirm but this looks like a great reference picture for a stock engine compartment on a CS-(less the fender rubber piece )

I was told it might be a good idea to leave the top rubber piece loose as water will collect under there- once it's formed, it fits in without glue.

Except US coupes didn’t get the small ECC sticker, the red one by the Parts sticker, the tire sticker on passenger fender (2800CS only), or the two small ones by the oil sticker, and I’ve never seen a battery sticker that close to the battery.

Agreed, here’s one thats a bit further up and of course the standard position close to the upper seam.
