I'm installing a new sound system in my 71 2800 CS. I'm building a box and locating all amplifiers including the modern receiver in the trunk. Eventually I'll find and instal a vintage becker or blaupunkt just for looks to replace the old 80s tape deck.
At the moment the only reason for me to even pull the old tape deck out is to get to the ignition/ACC connection. It sure would be nice to just leave it installed and locate the ACC wire near or at the fuse panel or someone else.
Does anyone know a good spot to splice into a connection for ACC/ignition?
