Hi guys,

My e9 keeps having problems with injectors so I would like to replace them. I had them cleaned 1 month ago car ran fine for around 200 km than it started running on 4-5 cylinders. I had it cleaned again it was good for another 150 km. At the shop they say they get jammed.

Tank is cleaned, new filters, new lines, new gasoline so I can only imagine they are gone and will keep causing problems.

I made research and find out that some Mercedes d-jetronic, Citoren SM, Volvo p1800 had same injectors - bosch 0280150036, 0280150015, 0280150043, 0280150024, 0280150035.

Before I buy new ones which are super expensive I would like to try to replace them with used ones which I would had inspected and cleaned.

Maybe someone has them for sale?

Thanks

Hi,
I am restoring a '74 BMW 3.0CSi. The injectors are Bosch 0280150015. 3 of the 6 are working, I have not checked the actual flow rate. The other 3 are not working, coil resistence is ok, but no flow. Can anyone suggestthe best way foward. I would like to keep the injection standard if possible. Im in Ireland.
Thanks,
Seán.

I have six used injectors. I replaced them with new ones and same problem occured after 1000km so I presume old ones are good but never tested them.

do a Forum search for "fj118 " ....same flow rate and fraction of the cost. No brainer IMO ....suggest you replace alll the injector seals too.

SFdon loves his NOID lights! I almost went that route with my FI problems last year…how about borrowing an ECU from him instead to see if all the injectors work, that is if he still has one available?

....allso, are you getting a "pulse" from the connectors to the injectors that aren't working ?
Thank you. I have swapped the working injectors to all the connectors, all the connectors are working, I have also replaced the connectors. I think the FJ118 injectors are the way to go. I have sent a mail to RockAuto, their price seems very reasonable.

Thank you, How much do want for them, I will probably purchase FJ118 injectors, but I have decided yet what to do.
