Totally amazed. I didn’t know that there were so many different colours . I’d bet that are aficionados out there that can spot the year of manufacture by the colour.
My ‘73 e9 is agave….the only colour choice available at this time. I still have the original brochure.
there is a very good article on e9 colors that will be coming out in the next issue of @NiekN 's CS magazine called the Palette of Elegance - BMW's colours and fabrics for the e9. one of the things that i find very interesting is the difference in colors (colours) available in the UK, Europe and North America. there were many colors available in the USA that were very rare in the UK. look for Niek's announcement of the next issue and i know he is working on digital application of the magazine as well.
