The 55mm tips are still available from BMW, not sure if you are aware of this. RealOem has them listed and they are only $19. Two also on ebay for $18.95 each. It is the 60mm that is no longer available.

i can not discuss this point, i have not checked them side to side, neither you did ;-)
i can only tell these ones are NOS and correct
we can see what bmw offers nowadays as a replacement, i.e. BREMI coil instead of the original BOSCH ones,... etc

anyway, two decissions on my side:

1- i can not offer them at the mentioned price, I bought them on a high price, so i maintain my price
2- i will immediately refund the money of the one that has bought the 55mm tip from me, to allow him to buy it wherever he wants, in bmw, ebay, or anywhere else

i think that it is fair to do so

Check the length - the cheap 55mm tips are often 80mm long, not 100mm which is what is oem, looks better and harder to find.

They might in fact be the more expensive 100mm being sold on this thread. My apologies for any confusion. I wasn't aware there were two lengths offered.

facts on the tips

1- these are pristine 100mm chrome tips for a 54,5mm diameter exhaust, normally used on 2800 engine version cars, but please check, not always coincide, anyway if your car exhaust end diameter is 54,5mm the tip is OK for you

2- the one that bought it from me, and that was offered to have his money refunded, has maintain the deal, and will receive the tip in a few days;
