Has anyone used a toolbox from e12 or an e24 as a replacement for an e9?

as i remember, they are different shapes - the angles are different. they might fit in the standard mounts (no idea), but you would have to modify the panels on the under side panels

I suspect some need a toolbox but aren't willing to spend $374.00 + freight + tariff. I'm curious if anyone has tried to use one of the later toolboxes.

oh by the way, those boxes on ebay were over 200 bucks ...
The lower picture is of an early E24 and E12 box I have more than several those and can also furnish one with the proper tools.
