A couple of weeks ago I saw the E9 watch on Ebay and bid up to I believe $45 but was outbid. A couple of days later I received an email saying the top bidder backed out and I could buy the Watch for $12. I just received it and it is worth having for that price. I think if we get enough people who want one I can maybe buy 40 or 50 depending on response and get nthem for a little less and save on the single shipping cost that I had to pay. Please let me know and I will get a letter or email out to the source.

That's something I can afford right now so I'm interested.

Is this the watch that I posted. I thought that it was fake, but realized after the fact that the watch face is a cropped image of a C-Pillar roundel. Can you post pics of the actual watch?

Be very suspicious of buying off auction on ebay. Once they have your credit card number you are hosed. Send a check, now they have your ABA and routing information and a signature to make duplicates.

Use PayPal. Sign up and it is effectively an escrow account. PayPal has you card information. The seller gets none of it, only a Paypal payment.....

Simple, the EBay guys have you covered.

My Timex needs a new strap, so I'd give an E9 watch a try for $!2.

The seller of the "M" watch, the one on the left at the bottom of the ad, has zero feedback from what I can tell. Shipping is $17.00. Looks like a crap shoot to me.

Watch.

Hi Guys. What's with all the negativeness? Not everyone has a bunch of high priced classics and wears Rollex watches. My last ten watches cost less than $10 each and some lasted years. The guy selling these watches is most likely paying $7 for the watches and making $12 bon shipping costs. One of my customers and his girlfriend made $70K last Nov. and Dec. selling video games at a cost of $2 and charged an additional $7.95 for shipping and handleing. Not bad for smart young couple. I have been in retail since 1992 and previously in manufactureing.
Thw way I see it is if you want something for whatever reason and you can't find or make it for less, who cares what the retailer makes on it. Being in the automotive business for over twenty years I could never understand how repair shops chared 3 to 4 times the cost for rotors. Do you think that the customers that neede rotors could make them or even buy then at a parts store and install in their driveway? I've owned nearly 50 vehicles and never wanted to learn how to change the oil or aqny other repair that involved getting under a two ton vehicle. I had two customers who were killed by a vehicle falling off a njack or jack stand.
I'll give an example of my first time I attempted an under car repair. Having four cars in the family back in the late 80's one of my friends could not understand why I has having antifreeze changed at a repair shop,I think at the time it was around twenty dollars for each. He said I should be able to do it myself and save at least half. He told me how to do it and the following cold Sunday I started by getting under my car first,an 86 BMW 325ES,bought new.Let me first tell you I am blind in my left eye. As I loosened the nut the antifreeze squirted into my right eye which imediately started burning and made it impossible for me to see what was to be done next and ended up wth the antifreeze pouring down my driveway. Just FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
I would like some feedback on this.
By the way I like the look but not the quality of my BMW watch.
Thanks for taking the time to read this thread.

The problem is that the watch is pretty ugly. And it has no numbers for the hours.

Koopman, I like the look but not enough to bite. If the Roundel was larger and it had a faux leather band to match my driving gloves I would like it better. I wonder when BMW's lawyers will ring his bell. Steve

I'm starting to think that I may be way over my head as a member of this Forum. I am a working class person with little post high school education and very little class. I was in this forum and enjoyed helping members find parts with no fees and I guess that does not qualify me.For those who appreciate my service please email me @[email protected]
Thanks,I hope I did not affend anyone.

Koopman, you have offended no one! Arde thinks it is ugly, Larry wants one, with some mods I might even spring for one.
It is really about taste. Years ago I was working in advertising and came upon a Lava Lamp. I was enchanted, thought it would make a great promotional gift for clients on one of Alcoa's mailing list's. When I told a marketing VP at the agency he laughed and said it was elephant cum floating in the colored oil, one of the ugliest things he ever saw.

Anyone who sees the beauty and timeless design of our coupes has class.

Koopman no offense at all, I think your services are great including the thorough search for an uncracked E24 dash...
I just did not like a roundel in the middle of the watch, and the numbers look like all zeros.
Personally I am quirky and do not like the idea of wearing the brand in things that are not the car. I have a wardrobe full of shirts with the logo of my previous employers and do not like being a walking billboard for the either:).
