E9 Water Temperature Sensor Characteristic

Where I can find the characteristics (temp vs. resistance) for the water temperature sensor (the one which is coming to the temperature gauge)?

Part number is pointing to many BMWs, not only E9, E3, E10 but newer ones.

It would be also interesting to have some record where needle of temperature should be for respective temperature.

I'm sure I'm not the only one aksing about it.
