E9 Windshield or top of the dashboard first?

It is difficult to mount the dashboard with the screen seal in place as the tolerances are fine. What I found helped with mine was trimming the dash a little bit then applying grease lightly to the surfaces just along the edge. It then slipped in nicely. Now, holding down the ends was a really painful process. I ended up runnong bolts where the clips were and bolting them from beneath the dashboad.

Thanks for your reply. The windshield is now installed. Unfortunately, the rubber seal near the dashboard wasn't quite right. I removed the top of the dashboard and then pushed the rubber seal back into place. I'll try your tips and let you know. Best, Hans
