Two months ago, I placed an order for an E9 Windshield Weather Stripping for another vehicle (i.e. 1967 BMW 2000CS). with CSi Inc. (USA) - www.bmwclassicparts.com. After a two-month wait, I was getting very anxious that this $648 purchase was not going to get delivered. Ben & Sandra @ CSI Inc. were very helpful, but the turnaround time was brutal. Ben said their shipments from Germany are one big bundle shipment that is sent once all the customer parts are consolidated. This E9 Windshield Weatherstripping is like "NLA - Unobtainable - Kryptonite" I will be getting my weatherstripping in the next week as per Ben. The folks from Latvia/Croatia on eBay "say" they have the weatherstripping, but the cost is like $925+shipping - not so cool! Perhaps the E9 Coupe community should endeavor into producing an injection mold for these E9 Windshield Weather stripping products. I'm not sure what is the appetite or demand is for the E9 windshield weather stripping, but it was almost impossible to obtain one! Cheers mates!

there are better sources for rubber at much lower prices. check out the FAQ - top sources located in my signature below. your best bet is generally from BTS Autoteile for rubber. i think i paid a couple of hundred for a new windshield gasket for the e9 less than 1 year ago

Excellent! I wish I had signed up with e9coupe sooner and found the right sources! Thank you so much!

Just seen an email from this company:

I also receive those emails. I have ordered from Max in the past and overall the items seem to be of reasonable quality. My primary issue is that every day's email contains the warning that "there are none of these items left, these are the last ones". If one added the words "in my warehouse", then perhaps the admonishment would hold true. I actually have an earlier version of the front windshield gasket (which was more expensive that this one) that I ordered from this same site because my gasket has a few wrinkles here and there and when I received an email that "these are the last available" I figured I better stock up. That purchase was over a year ago and clearly there are still some available. So I'd say purchase if you need it and ignore the warnings.

BTS is closed down at this time.

Stefan sells the seals and they are in stock.

€129.00 and no tariffs

Best deal in the world….

Same seal- best price-fast shipping.
