He should have taken 58k. I don't understand. Sure the build cost could be much higher, but a restomod like this is usually worth less than the sum of its parts.

Maybe he didn't need to sell? I wouldn't let mine go for probably any price, and it isn't for sale, but if someone were to come up with $125k I might be tempted. Probably not for any less.

Last I heard the selling price had to start with a "6" before it could trade hands.
