Those of you with facebook check this guy out, you guys in yurrop or the UK may want to pounce, I was ready to but at about 400 euros for shipping to Colorado o_O I really don't want another set that bad. Honestly I think they are a steal at this price even with the ship cost, but dammit not like I have an 8 million dollar CSL to put two sets on ... scroll down a bit after following the link, and say thank-you if you score ;-)

They are a bargain! I would be interested if they were 16 inchers!

For anyone with a Csl that doesn't have a set of these, this is a crazy good deal at twice the cost.

V poor comms from the seller. They have gone, but he has others!
Mmm got a bad feeling about these.

I had also wrote to him but got no reply. For € 800 and authentic Alpina refurbished wheels (without the extra holes), far too cheap. Something wasn’t right there.

Here is another set. It has sold and reappeared at least a couple of times quite recently. Must be a catch somewhere.

Honesty...I've only played with coupes (and E3's) for about 30 years, in that time I had only laid hands on three sets of the '72 date coded alpine wheels being sold separately. I bought one of those sets. In addition I have seen two other sets on cars, one was Cari Iida's Alpina L and the other the Gilroy falconer family's car that Cari used as a guide in restoring his B2. On those cars (in the mid-90's), and on my set of wheels, the wheels were/are bare metal. No silver paint, no slicker than frog snot shiny oh-so-luxurious finish. Just raw, cast wheels. I can show you mine if you like, but they are best appreciated in person. I like the rest of you get suspicious when stuff like this rather suddenly starts showing up for sale all over the place and on eBay and facebook. In a way I am sorry to have made this post. I hope Simufly is able to shag down the offeror and hope the offer is legit.

@dp thanks for the tip! The seller was a great guy as soon as I reach him on phone. No problems at all and only 60 Euro shipping to Germany.
Now I'm a happy owner of early Alpinas :)
