Early E9 on Ebay

According to his description, he bought it from BHCC in August, and is also selling a 1982 E24 that he was doing a swap with. Both are included in the auction, but no shots of the 635.

Sounds like a project that turned into a chore. At least he's transparent enough to share the original BHCC listing, where there better quality shots and interior pics:

Interesting car for its history. How many 101st manual E9 are there? Might be a shame to further destroy this 2800 CS by swapping the engine. Some minor parts have already been replaced by what was availble, doorpanels are cut, seats are most surely not original, and although the colour may be nice the paint is not. The seller states code "40" which is Nachtblau Metallic. Present colour looks like Maledivenblau, a seldom ordered colour on the E34.
 
Euro gauges are fine for a car with Euro VIN, +2200101+. Side markers may have been added after import. What about the clear window in the passenger door?
 
I'm thinking quite a bit of filler sculpting on those fender top:
