Early Style BMW/Pierburg Mech Fuel Pump

Only if you can find a diaphragm........unless you already have one. Very NLA.

NB:preemptive strike on diaphragm jokes cause I sense one on the way.

This style. It’s in okay shape but has been “fake plated” to inhibit corrosion . If one cares about such things as original fuel pumps, they probably would want to re-plate the steel components.

Does anyone rebuild the original pumps? Any company or individual? The "early" VW diaphram is mentioned. Any part numbers and source?
Thx, Dan

Dan, I dont think so. I asked around as I know these are good pumps to use with side drafts on a 2002, but if find a source for them or repairs let me know.

As soon as I can buy this one from @Dowst for $50 + shipping, I have a guy willing to look for a diaphram to work on these. I bought a new style pump and it interferes with the dual Weber throttle Linkage.
