Easy PPI / Looking for help from Austin Texas / BaT car

I am helping bring a friend into the E9 ownership / community. He is interested in this car, just outside of Austin, Texas. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-bmw-3-0csi-14/

Is there anyone close by on this forum who can visit this shop in Round Rock, Texas? This would be Monday or Tuesday of this week.

You do not need to be an E9 expert. We would coordinate the Pre Purchase inspection with me on the other end via FaceTime or Zoom. I would walk you through the check list of items we would like to verify.

This is a paid position, estimated 2 hours.

you are in good hands Paul ... these two guys know a thing or two about assessing coupes and they both have some nice coupes ... and the good news is they aren't too far from Round Rock. might cost you a couple of beers and a few plates of some nice Texas barbecue

@rsporsche You were right.....the best hands. Barney and Peter showed up and did a very comprehensive inspection and test drive earlier today. This gave our new buyer lots to consider and if he is going to bid on Thursday. We will post all of our finding soon after the auction close.

This a just a quick note of our massive appreciation for Peter and Barney's stepping up on short notice. -Of the many characteristics that make this E9 community so much more enjoyable than all others.

(Both of these guys refused to take any money. Peter's suggestion of a donation to this forum has been made)

Barney and I had a great time looking over this coupe. Anything to escape the office on a pleasant afternoon! It’s also a learning experience seeing other people’s work. Auction ends tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes!
