Guys, just wondering if anyone has any experience with this company ? I did a search on the Forum and as you can imagine "tuning" threw up a large number of posts which were not related . I'm looking at ordering both BMW and Mercedes parts and their prices seem very competitive ( even allowing for International shipping ) . I have tried to email them but my emails "bounce" for some reason .

Specifically, I need to know that if I order the parts ( and pay ) that I'm not subsequently advised that parts are NLA or backorder etc and then have to go through the hassle of refund . They state that parts ship in about 4 days from Order ( which is fine by me ) but I guess I'm just trying to get some feedback as to experience of others . Happy to consider other suppliers bearing in mind Mercedes parts needed too ( CLS )

Hope I have posted this query in the appropriate section . Cheers, Simon

It's minus 14 hours to the states - why not give them a call?

ECS is a great company, I use them all the time.

I bet I have made 20+ orders and have never had an issue, and customer service has been good as well.

I have used ECS on numerous occasions for Passat parts. One thing I really like is that they carry multiple levels (often 3 or 4) of quality for the same part, from OEM VW to lower cost aftermarket allowing me, the customer, to choose which level of quality I want for a particular part. With one exception the parts received have been of high quality and reasonably priced. In that one instance their Customer Service department stepped up to the plate immediately and took care of the issue. I would not hesitate to order from them again. When a part has been on back order, it is shown on their web store listing. If in doubt, call them up and talk to a sales person directly.

I have used them several times for parts for my e39; never had a problem.

They're pretty good, but you need to make sure that the shipping price quoted is actual. Often times, they aren't at all familiar with what the part is when you order it, so they might quote on weight alone while a relatively large part is going to cost much more to ship.

On some things though, I don't even know how they can quote the price they do. Pretty low.

BMW & Merc Parts

I have used Pelican Parts based in LA many times for shipment to Auckland New Zealand. Never a problem, excellent prices and shipment costs show up straight away with a choice of shipping service. Parts usually arrive within 4-5 days.

My personal is fcpeuro.com. Only had problems with one incorrect part and one defective part over 10 years, and I've ordered a LOT from them. Here in VT if I order by noon I have it the next day. Prices are great, service is great, and selection is good. As always caveat emptor in what you select. I recommend to many shops and friends. I order often for my e39 and V70R.
