Has anyone used these and if so are they any good/worth the expense?

Thanks,

Rohan

I bought the Caswell kit, the " Copy Cad and Zinc Plating Kit" found here: http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/zinc.htm . I have been amazed by the results. A 1.5 gallon kit will allow you to do all small parts and hardware right on your workbench. I got the 5 amp power supply. Don't try to improvise with anything else; get one of the PS they sell. I also got the yellow chromate, blue chromate and black chromate chemicals and they work very well. You do need to 'dial-in' your set up and read on their forum if you have problems as it is very helpful.

Here are some pictures representative of my plating results:

Hey Luis,

those results are fantastic! I think i will go ahead and get a kit. Its so handy to be able to do the bits when you want through a restoration.

Thanks,

ROhan
