I was looking at an engine and wondering if it would be an upgrade from what I have now, but I cannot figure what it came out of ?
Its stamped +3190494+
Any information would be helpful.
Thanks
Johnny

Thanks for that info chris !
So sounds like it may not really an upgrade from my U.S. 1972 3.0cs engine?

I upgraded my 73 3.0 CS to an 1983 E28 3.5 liter. This was an injected motor but it was easy to convert to normally aspirated.

The US b34 has same 8.0:1 compression and same HP as the b30 in a stock coupe. I don’t know what the torque difference is though. I assume it’s still coming together?
