Stock 2800 with a header was well-tuned and very nice on the road.
 
So this is a Euro but I see no rear fog light cutout. The fog light thing has always confused me. Were there euro cars designated for certain locations without a rear fog light? When did the rear fog light switch from near the right under rider to the rear panel. My 73 German Euro had the cut out in the panel but not the chrome license plate holder but also had the fog light bracket near the under rider.
 
early cars and i believe all 2800cs didn't have the cutout ... they had a rear foglight mounted below the bumper.
 
I'm quite surprised by the lukewarm high bid. If I were in the market I would have paid significantly more. Beautiful car, especially the interior.
 
Its on the Pole Position website offered at $74,500. They were $9K off in the auction. Seems like a very clean machine at a reasonable price.
