Several E9'ers and friends, myself included, will be participating in the every-5-years Bavaria Tour for vintage BMW's, organized by the BMW 02 Club eV. Dirk de Groen, head of the BMW Classic CCA here in the US, has organized a wraparound driving tour totaling nearly 3 weeks across Europe, beginning May 29 in Amsterdam. Around 6 cars, all 2002's, are being shipped over from the US to participate.

Given all the excitement we've shared about tariffs, I'd be happy to pick up any packable parts (like feeler gauges -- no fenders) while I'm there and tote them back for US shipping, if that would be helpful.

So you mean the Lokari wheel fenders and Paul Baker springs I’m having shipped to Canada to avoid…you know…I could have had you bring instead ?
Sounds like a great event. Are the 2002s being shipped over personal vehicles or is there something special about them?

this sounds like a great trip - guess i should have bought that 2002 that i thought about buying ... oh well.

Sounds great - welcome to Europe! Which countries are you visiting on your tour?

Hey Don,
I do have the 6 packages with feeler gauges ready to be distributed in the US. Would be good, as Don L needs his before Legends if I remember well.
You'll likely pass within an hour's drive from my house, so i can drive up and catch you en-route perhaps. (NL is just a tiny country)
I'll PM you.

All 2002's are special, but these are just our personal money pits.
