Eww Spider!

This bad boy was in my shower last night. I put a half dollar next to him to highlight the size. It's a giant house spider. One of the fastest spiders in the world, second to the sun spider. They also look identical to the poisonous hobo spider, which is also native to WA.

I have seen ones even bigger inside and outside our garage here in Bucks County, PA.
Will try and get a photo next time. They are amazing creatures.

We live in a forest and every spring we have dozens of "webs" that look like 4-5 inch squares of white gauze floating above the leaves. Also amazing.
