Exhaust manifold cover plate finish

I searched but came up empty. My manifold cover plates are looking a bit tatty. What is a good finish to apply? Any particular colour, or sheen better than others? Thanks, Mike

I have done this to several sets. Tumble and low gloss clear ceramic coat, I had this done at Speedway in Santa Ana. Paint will slowly absorb oil.
