Not sure why you would want one on a coupe....this was on an early e3, so I guess would fit chrome bumper car....

Has reinforcement plates for trunk, the main piece has some wear from dragging....$200 plus shipping from NC, price based solely on what I went through to get it....

Thanks

I don´t think an E3 hitch would fit an E9. The trunk structures and dimensions are mostly different.

Besides: I would never put a hitch on an E3 and there is a special place reserved in hell for anyone who would put on on an E9...

Good thing I like being warm then! Mine has a tow bar that I had custom adapted from an E3 saloon, albeit the tow ball and arm release so its (fairly) un-noticeable.

I had it fitted so I could take our mountain bikes with us on camping trips on a carrier

:-)

Kinda warm here too--

when I purchased the BLUMAX from his original owner it was fitted with what I believe was a factory installed trailer hitch that the owner used to tow his sabot (spelling)--a small sailboat.

For several years (12-15 I seem to recall) I left it in place as protection against being whacked or even nudged in the rear--worked too as bumper is original and wearing the original chrome finish in excellent condition--however--on several occasions it also served to damage its second owner's shins--severely enough it finally motivated me to remove same. Kept it for awhiie in my garage but moved after several years and now have no idea where it went.
