I have a 72 CS with 16" BBS-RS wheels (7Jx16 ET11's) in the front. When I take a corner with any real aggresion, the front tires will occasionally (only the left side rubs since that is the side my fat ass is on) will rub the fender lip. I have Carl's lowering springs and like the look of the front end and don't really want to re-raise my car. Has anyone had their front fenders "rolled"?. If so, is there a shop in the Pacific N.W. that performs this service?

Thanks,

Pat Smith

I had this done to my CS to accommodate my 16" Alpinas and Carl's springs, and got the impression at the restoration ship that did it, that it is a fairly common procedure across a variety of marques, not just E9's. I would ask around at any of the competent restorers in your area to see it they perform this service.

Good luck!

Hi Pat,

FYI - There is someone on Seattle Craigslist that regularly rents out a fender roller. It makes sense as it is a very proprietary tool. There are nearly 2,000 youtube videos on using the Eastwood fender roller. Perhaps you can give it a shot while visiting the west side.

We should definitely meet up when you get to town. ;)

Eastwood Fender Roller Rental Rent & Heat Gun 48 Hour Rental - $40 (Renton Bellevue)
00Y0Y_eUIVoeJTI9M_600x450.jpg

I am renting my Eastwood fender roller and heat gun.

Both the roller and heat gun are in great condition and have worked perfectly for everyone that has used them.

A 48 hour rental is $40.
I will need a $150 cash deposit for the safe return of the equipment. Upon return of the tools, your $150 will be refunded. Each additional day is $10.

I can meet in the Renton/Southcenter area or in Bellevue. Thanks for looking.
