I have not renewed my CCA membership in several years as I was not really using it.

Is there a special reason to get Festorics tickets through them, meaning that I would have to add a membership fee? I am not bringing my car so I am only getting the race and paddock access tickets.

The price is the same as directly through the monterycarweek.com site.

Thank you.

That wouldn't allow you access to the Coupe coral though, would it? I finally placed my order for membership and a 3 day race and coral pass a few days ago. This was the first I've heard that BMW membership is not required.

Anyone can walk through the corral area in Turn 5 and the Lakbed. The Hospitality area is fenced off in the Lakebed where food and drink is served only. Each corral pass holder gets one Hospitalty wrist band, additional ones can be purchased when registering as well.

Is the lakebed where they will put e9s and other historically significant BMWs? I remember in the 90s we had over 100 e9s there. Is that going to happen again this year?

The Lakebed holds only 500 cars, the CCA has directed that every model be represented there but there is a preference for vintage vehicles of course. Add in BMW AG, BMW NA, VIPs, sponsors and BMW motorcycles as well in that 500.

Entrants must include a photo and brief description of their vehicle too. Those who fail to do this will be in Turn 5. Lots of room still left but those who wait will be disappointed. I don't think we will be anywhere close to that many coupes, too bad, they will be parked together with e3 and 2002s though.

Couldn't we dispense with the #$$%@#%% that Chris Bangle designed?

Chris. I did include one photo with my ticket purchase, but not sure if that is enough? Is there a selection committee that I can submit to?
