Filler Cap key?

Hi guys,

Quick question. Is it possible to still find filler cap keys for the E9?

If so which info woud you need to find the correct key?

A good locksmith should be able to make a key from a suitable blank.

There is not a lock code on the cap I have. The key has B108 on it, not sure if that is the lock code or just the key model number.

I acquired a keyless locking gas cap from D'Q. In excellent + condition. I would be interested in having a key made. If anyone figures out a way to do it and has a good locksmith, I would be seriously interested.

I'll take it to the local locksmith and see what he can do.

Anybody willing to post their filler cap keys just to get an idea of how complicated and different they can be?

As I recall, some of my 2002s had locking caps. The key was not complex; perhaps if you go to their forum you can find some examples.

Just to let you know that I found a NOS filler cap with a set of keys. Also from Christoph Bier.
