Those Marchals do look period correct with the chrome housing.

They look good, if not on the box there is probbaly a date code on the inside of the housing.

Front fogs

Hi guys,

Decided to go for a pair of yellow round Fog lights for the Csi.

Here is what I managed to pick up yesterday. NOS Marchal 14cm round Fogs in mint condition.

Do you guys think this is a period correct pair to use on an E9?

I have been looking for a year for a set of these lights! Where did you get them from and are there any more? Hope springs eternal!!!!

Picked them up yesterday at the Antwerp classic car show here in Belgium. At first I wasn't sure because of the asking price of €125 but after looking for similar Fogs on other tables and not finding any I decided to buy them also because the seller told me it was his last pair. In the seventies the guy had a car accessories shop and this was left over stock. One of the boxes still have the old price tag of 770,- Belgian Francs on it , about $20. Don't know if that would have been the price for the pair or for only one example.

Thanks for the heads up! Rather too expensive for me I am afraid, like the rest of the items this seller has on eBay!

I have the Marchal 660 and 662 on my NK sedan. They came in original boxes with instructions in French, and they are, reproductions. Yours look NOS but Marchals are being reproduced and are affordable, finding real NOS ones are almost impossible.

Glad I bought them, only thing I'm wondering about is whether or not the bulbs will still funtion after all these year. i'll keep you posted.

Back from the body shop. Season start scratch repaired and they were so kind to also install the Marchal's on the Csi. Fully functional.

Did the body shop just drill the bumper or is there a reinforcing bracket underneath?

Hi Simufly,

In an other life it apparently had fogs. The wholes in the bumper were still there but covered up with chrome stops as you can see in the picture bellow. There is no reinforcement.

Small correction, their is reinforcement. They are installed on a side arm coming from the bumper horns.
