Spent last year and this year visiting at RS Garage with Miguel and his staff. Their work is incredible. Amazing sheet metal work.
This car is an exceptional example.
Any forum members going to Porto should ask for a visit- the shop is on the Gaia side of the Douro river.

But Don, no seals on the doors, upside down speaker grille, yellow zinc strut bearing nuts and wiper motor mount, and trim on bumper ends should be black, Walloth sells them as grey.

Oh I know- leave something for the new owner!

Gray has been all I find for years.

I'm going to write Albrecht a note right now asking for BLACK! Let you know how it goes!

Hallo Albrecht-

Könnten wir dieses Teil für die Stoßstangenecke bitte in Schwarz bekommen? Grau ist nicht die richtige Farbe und sieht tatsächlich unschön aus.
Ich würde die ersten 20 Sets abnehmen.

Vielen Dank.

Don

i would be in for a pair - i have a set of gray from W+N ... black would look soooo much better against ceylon

While I of course can understand the desire for authentic parts, especially on the CSL, when I was removing my bumper and saw the sad state of that rubber surround piece, I replaced it with black door edge trim designed to protect the edges of auto doors from being banged up when opening. A whole roll was under $15 and I could cut it to length. It has a slight adhesive so it grips the bumper and I would hazard a guess that no one who didn't know it wasn't the original piece would be able to tell the difference.

Albrecht has informed me that the next production run will be black.

Now who will buy those remaining pesky gray ones ???
