I purchased this 24 page color brochure back in 2003 at the fantastic Goodwood Festival of Speed from a bookshop stand.
This is an original BMW brochure and promotional piece on their motorsport activities from 1979 including touring car racing, formula junior and the history of BMW in motorcycle and car racing through the decades.
This item is in excellent condition. I offer a couple of photos including the cover page and one of the many fold-out color spread pages with a collection of famous coupes.
In going through my collection of BMW memorabilia I realized that I have two of these pieces and I only want one... I believe I paid GBP30 which would have been closer to $45 at the time... and I assume it would be more valuable to certain BMW enthusiasts now.
