This is a complete kit with 3 Weber 40 DCOE's with manifolds, linkage and gaskets.
All brand new never on an engine.
Not using these changed mind about set-up for engine build.

$1860.00 shipped lower 48 USA only.

Nice looking carbs, what size chokes, idle/main jets and emulsion tubes do they have?

These have the air bypass screws which makes matching the airflow at idle in each barrel very easy.

Wah hooo

What a fun set up that would be!
Beautiful set of carbs...

Now Arde will say something about a low-carb diet...

This kit was put together specifically for the 3.0 engine and they would be very close to "plug and play".

Is a swap from dual webers something I could do myself or would this require a lot of expertise? I understand the fine tuning is another matter which might require a specialist or dyno. I'm really just trying to figure out what the total cost would be.

No wait, mine is a 2.8 so would these stil be an option?

Yes, these are designed for the 2.8 to 3.0 +- motors.
I guess you mean you have dual downdraft Webers?

Not sure of your abilities but there are instructions on the install.
If you still have the big brake booster then that will probably be more difficult as that will have to be changed to a smaller (2002 model) version.

I replaced my booster but I'm not sure where it came from. I thought it was from a 320 but I am probably wrong about that.

Gary, PM sent regarding the Paypal address.

Possible thermostat housing mod needed also. Korman makes one.

Early 2800CS has a thinner pancake style booster, maybe it will fit?

As all the E9 boosters are the same size (only the thickness will differ) it will interfere with the 4th cylinder air horn if those aren't very short or you chose to use the Alpina style bends.

The other solution is to use a Tii BB which however will require rerouting the brake lines and some other smaller issues regarding rod length.

Cheers

I will do my best. I will first need to take an inventory of what I have, what I need and then what else I should take care of as long as I'm tearing thins apart. Mind you I haven't even driven the car in over a year but am told it will be home next week

Somebody else here is doing the conversion too and was nice enough to send me a parts and price list. PM me your email address and Ill send it to you.

Needed changes for this setup

With these intake manifolds you definitely need to change the brake booster to a Tii version. With some patience I was able to get one for about $250 with shipping. Also, as mentioned you will need to replace the thermostat housing with one modified by korman-$195. Most everything else is well documented in Steve's thread on Weber side draught upgrades. As david mentioned I have an excel with all the cost and parts with website links.

I will definitely read and reread Steve's thread. Are there alternative manifolds that won't require a brake booster swap.

Triples - check
Header - check
M30B35 - ???

After conversations with Jessie, Don L, Paul Burke, and Mark from performance Parts I think we are looking at a new engine. Apparently the oil pump arrived about 25 years too late. Once we took the oil pan off, stretched rings have led us to think that it's time to stop throwing good money on this engine. I'll start a new thread once we decide which way to go but for now the debate is on as to whether to keep the new webers or to go with fuel injection.

Now go with the Webers - that maintain and enhance the correct period look in a very nice way! Go find a good 3.0 with D-jet pistons and add a Schrick 284 cam and the triplets = very good fun, plenty of torque, nice revvy setup and great sound!

Cheers
Anders
