I go to the local one in Palos Verdes the first Saturday of the month. I am often the only Coupe there.

Is there one that many coupe owners usually attend? It would be great to see each car's progress, at least the ones that are drivable, on a regular basis.

Every Saturday? Wow. Nice.

Aliso Viejo would be about an hour drive so I might hit the Tustin one first. Will definitely let you know ahead.

I'm in the process of redoing the brake system so it will be a few weeks.

Though I am not a local, there's an event in Huntington Beach every Saturday called "Donut Derelicts". Last April I was in the area for a Ford event at Knott's Berry Farm (I'll be driving a vintage Mustang) and made a point of attending Donut Derelicts. The place was packed by 6:00 a.m. (still dark) and there was even one Black E9 in attendance. Never did find the owner/driver. I expect to be in the area again this year and hope to crawl out of bed early enough to attend again. Great cross section of cars and friendly folks. Here is the link:

The Ford branded show is pretty large often hitting 1800 + or - cars of all Ford models. Show is April 17th with free admission for spectators and Portillo's is just down La Palma from the show field for lunch. Check it out if you are curious. Not sure if I will be in a '67 Fastback GTA or a '69 Mach 1 but I would love to meet E9 forum members that find themselves in the area. Let me know and we can make a point to visit.

Yes, that HB event is pretty gnarley. Chip Foose has introduced a few cars from the Overhauled show there. It is mostly Hot Rods indeed.

Another weekly one in the area is in Redondo Beach in the parking lot of the Ruby's at Seaside lagoon. Every Friday evening 5 to 7pm. Great vibe as well. But mostly Detroit iron as well.
