For Those who need / want new VDO Series 1 gauges

Guys, for anyone wanting to add VDO gauges at sometime in the future that match the gauges in the coupe - black face, white numbers, white needle and a chrome rim ... the VDO Series 1 is the best choice. here is the downside, VDO doesn't make these anymore and what is still available in the market is what you can buy. the next best thing is the VDO Vision Chrome, which is the same but has red needles ... as @Stevehose said, you can gently pry the chrome rim off and paint the red needle white. I bought the 250 water temp, the volt meter and an electrical 100 psi oil pressure sender (the last one)

For anybody interested in the sweep style series 1 gauges, i just got an email from Timmy that he has received some electric 80psi oil pressure gauges with the correct electrical sender - these are very hard to find the price for both pieces is $149

is that a dual sender which preserves the idiot light function? I recall putting these on 2002’s.

I have the VDO 360 007 sender which is 80psi for the gauge and 8.5psi for the idiot light. M12x1.5 thread for direct mount to the head.
