Before I send out for scrap, if you want this or any part thereof it is free for local pickup (Los Angeles) or I will ship small parts for cost. It was running OK in my car prior to removal. Smoked a bit on load deceleration. I was never able to adjust auto trans to kickdown but it shifted fine otherwise. More pictures at https://photos.app.goo.gl/bwoUpxemVBjjAhU57

That 74 head surely is a good part to keep if you send it to the scrap yard...... many would want to have it!

Does that head have the later, better flowing coolant passages?

No, but it’s a period correct head in working condition and for someone with a 74 block, surely a prize possession.
Just my opinion.....

I thought so; my head has the same casting number with a 78 date. Thx.

Funny, I'm willing to give away this head to anyone who shows up at my door and yet... Apparently, the market has spoken.

In the meantime, I've shipped of the auto trans speedo cable bushing and oil pump and have a request for the thermostat housing and the fuel pump block off plate... Anyone want anything else? I can't drop the price any further ;-)

Is a '75 CSi head worth keeping?

@bill,

I suspect that this would be quite valuable to someone in Europe in particular. They place more emphasis on numbers matching, and you will also find more 1975 CSI's. If you wanted to sell it, you may want to list on ebay.de or post on the german e9 forum.
