Hope indeed, but it opens the door to a vexing dilemma. The British Pound bill is printed by a private company called De La Rue. How can they price their product? If they charge more than 1 Pound nobody would buy it, if they charge equal or less they cannot make money!

The british economists should go to La Selva Beach and pound sand!

I remember selling one to @tightbox years ago. Fortunately, I was traveling to SFO for business and after bubble wrapping, sent it a checked luggage for about $25.00

Ah yes, that was a fabulous week of fun dinners, s38 swapped e9 antics through the streets of SF, and finally meeting Stan, our great “e9 Ambassador!”

I actually never even mounted the thing - I ended up purchasing a second one that was already painted fjord (unfortunately in a totally different hue - AND it ended up costing me about 3x the original purchase price in shipping costs alone due to seller’s insistence on sending it via FedEx commercial freight). So now I’ve got 2 on the endless shelf of “someday” parts!

All worth it in the end. This hobby is more about the fun connections and relationships we build along the way anyway!
