Front belt line trim

I know this has been addressed before but I can’t find it.

Is the center trim moulding 51131810538 that is available new ok to use with all the rest of the trim original? Same fit and finish?

Heard new nose trim is too wide for the car, best to try to find an older one.

i would not spend money on new belt trim from BMW. i bought two new rear / side pieces a few years ago ... the fit isn't even close. 250 bucks worth of paper weights ... i had them sitting around before i took the trim off to realize that they didn't fit ... BMW dealer wouldn't take them back. i sent my full set of belt trims to speedway in SoCal (Santa Ana i believe) ... they look better than new.
