I have a rhd car coverted from LHD so has 3 servos. The one closest to pedal seems to be the issue but tried eveything. Has anyone had this issue? Know what it could be???

thanks

The guy at garage has bypassed the front servo and brakes work but not as they should just to move the car - any ideas>>>>

What do you mean by servos?

Typically when your brakes are locked up it's because your brake hoses have come apart on the inside and plugged up. Replace those first - it's cheap.

Next is because the brake pedal isn't returning all the way and letting the hydraulic fluid return to the brake master cylinder reservoir.

Did you reverse the shaft between the booster and the master?
If you did the brakes will lock up on you.
Only goes together one way.

Abzy,

In the RHD set-up, the master sends pressure to the two boosters on applying the brakes. One booster operates two pistons in each of the front brakes callipers only, and the second booster operates the other two pistons in the front brake pistons in the front callipers and the rear callipers (two pistons each).

This may explain why your mechanic is able to bypass one of the servos and the brakes work. I would still start problem solving the pistons in the callipers, while it is easy you can test if they move without replacing any parts.

Cheers,

Rod
