I have a centre grille for an E9 3.0CSL/CSI. ​

Condition is used but only on the car for a couple of weeks. please ask for more pics if needed

in reality, this is an e3 center grille. it was never used on an e9 coupe from the factory. nice looking grille though

true, the original ones are hard to find in good condition. if you do find one, it generally needs to be stripped, repolished and ceramic coated ... and probably needs to have some dings removed. the odd NOS one makes an appearance once or maybe twice a year - prices for those tend to be north of $800.

yup ... that's the real deal, looks like somebody painted the fins black to be like a CSL. the CSL had black anodized fins

Fun Facts on grills.
1. Back in 1968 in SLC bought my first BMW a 1968 2002. Winters in Utah were very cold and snowy. The State of Utah used gravel on the roads and the black painted 2002 grills took a beating. My solution was to use black electrical tape over the dinged black paint and voila no more problem.
2. A local men's store was changing hands and they were selling display items. Had a number of car related parts plus this grill. I got it for very little plus sales tax. Salting it away to see how it ages.
