Front Grill Mounting

There is something off with the fitment of my front grill. It’s obviously taken a little hit at some point in its life, but I’m wondering if it could also be mounted upside down.

The grill looks so tweaked that it is hard to tell. The bigger end goes up. The opening looks tweaked also (but maybe it's just the angle of the photo?)
