In preparing the indicators/turn signals for re-chroming, I broke one of the bulb holders taking it out. One came out fine, pictures attached, but the other did not fare so well.

Does anyone have any ideas for a replacement or am I the first with this predicament, or clumsy enough to make this mistake?

Its not that its come out - it that one of the discs broke when I was taking it out. This is the good one for reference.

I am trying the epoxy route on the disc but it might not be strong enough.

if you glue it in, wouldn't you be disqualifying yourself from the "Gee my car is gonna be worth 80K GBP someday" crowd?

This is my problem ie the disk attached to the moving contact broke whilst I was removing it. Not the refixing of the assembly - but the replacement of it, or repair. It was in four pieces but is now in two. I would prefer a complete new assembly.
