Front Licence plate bracket kit

Due to the angular middle portion of the front chrome bumper, I need a kit to mount my license plate ( US) for my '71 2800cs. Any suggestions on where to purchase ?
 
Can the plate be legally creased in half to fit flush to the bumper? If so an option without the frame hardware is to dremel the top mounting holes just a little bit on the outside edges to account for the change in geometry then get a washer to cover the holes. This way there is no gap between the plate and bumper and it appears more streamlined without the frame. I recently mounted a vintage plate on the front this way. FWIW:

I think there should some used ones available. Most people take them off because they don't like the looks of the front plates. Murray gave me one when I told him my concern about CA Law Enforcement Officers starting to crack down on 'no front plates'.
 
I checked Coupe King's website, but there was only something for the rear plate. I have surfed various BMW websites like Bavauto to no avail. I called a dealership and left a message. Does anyone have a part # ?
 
I got curious and made a mount in a couple of seconds- it took two bolts and 3" if pvc pipe, which you can angle to make look cool- or paint any color you wish. I suggest staying away from orange unless you were a pimp in a former life- then it's OK. Zero modifications to the bumper, sturdy and easy to remove :-)
