Front Panel

Trying to find some details on the front panel. The front lower grill section is corroding badly, in particular the large piece that sweeps back under the car from this part

Part 1 on the diagram - is it just this piece or does it include the large panel that sweeps back under the car?

I replaced mine a few months back.Peel the old one off and spot weld the new one on..

One of these days a may even paint it.

Nice one, thats perfect and just what i was looking for. Mine has that much filler in it i could not work out what was what.

I used a small wheel grinder with a thin blade.
Cut down the sides then across the bottom then the top.
pulled the carcus off,then worked with all the spotwelds.

The front panel was rather cheap compared to other parts for our cars.It comes primed black just like it looks in my pic.it does take a few extra hands to get it mounted.

Panel ordered, coming from Germany. BMW dealer confirmed that they have 179 units in stock.
