Has anyone had problems with the reproduction front screen rubbers. When you try to fit the screen it is only possible to get three corners in and the fourth overlaps by 20mm, as if the rubber is too thick? Its the same on two different cars so the car is not the problem....

Are referring to the windscreen gasket?

Having just done this… I thought the fit of the seal was not great. The channel was very small and it tended to “roll over” making the trim difficult to keep in its slot. I eventually taped the trim to the gasket to help it stay in place but it still slipped out here and there during installation.

I thought the material was actually too soft. Having just done the rear window the day before comparatively the front gasket was inferior.

I’d give it a barely passing grade for quality.

I had the same problem. The new rubber is thicker than the original. Had a professional do the job. First one wouldn’t fit, next one fit except the upper right side. It sagged into the groove there. No matter what we did, that gap would not go away. After 3 hours of manipulation, I told them to put black silicone gasket seal into the groove so moisture would not seep in the rail. It worked.
