will a European gasket for a 74 E3 fit an American market 73 e3? What trim will fit? Thank you

Any gasket will fit, but the 73 and earlier has different lower trim, 74 uses a larger lower trim. You need to match the correct trim to the correct seal. You can’t use 73 trim in a 74 seal.

I have a late seal and I have been keeping an eye out for late trim. If I don't find it soon, I'm going to look into getting the right size lock strip for the bottom.
