I have decided to downsize further, and this is next on the chopping block.

E12 fuel injection conversion in the 90s

I bought this car last year, from someone who bought it in the very early 90s. He subsequently had it repainted, had the fuel injection parts installed and used it as his daily driver until about 2005, when it was parked. I brought it home, removed the fuel tank for cleaning and installed a new fuel pump and filter. Moving on to the cooling system, discovered the radiator was plugged, so I installed a new aluminum radiator, thermostat and e28 water pump, replaced all the brake hoses, freed up the calipers, and installed a clean set of 3.0csi wheels. Bumpers are in very nice shape.
There is some corrosion at the bottom of the windshield frame that should be dealt with. The bottoms of the doors have some minor corrosion, too. All the areas that matter under the car are in nice condition. The windshield is cracked. Dashboard is cracked. There's enough good going for this that I felt it was worth saving.
Unfortunately, after doing all this, it was determined that the head gasket failed, or the cylinder head cracked - needless to say, it's another project I don't have time for.
Clean title in hand; car is currently stored 20 minutes south of Portland, Oregon. It should go without saying, but this vehicle is not drivable - bring a trailer.
Asking price of $6000 is negotiable - I would really like to see someone do something good with this. License plate not included with sale.
