Installed a 3.07 on my '74 that had a 3.8+ FI injected engine and OD 5 speed. Works wonderfully for highway cruising, and the enlarged engine had plenty of torque for around town driving. Putting that diff in also corrected the speedometer, as it matched up with the output from the OD 5 speed.
