aren't 74 USA gas tanks different than euro and earlier USA gas tanks - due to the big bumper braces in the trunk

They mount from underneath as well.

74 cs USA tank has hole for sender and a return line nipple(unused)
Euro 74 no return nipple.

Csi has 2 holes, one for sender and one for fuel pick up. 74 has long filler pipe and mounts from bottom.
